Hilux is top-seller in May

The Toyota Hilux is the top selling vehicle in South Africa in May with 2382 sales for the month.
Total vehicle sales reported by NAAMSA for the month were 43 214 units in a month where sales showed a decline of 24,6% over the same month last year.
Toyota sustained its market leadership through May with a 23,1% share of the total vehicle market with 9 975 sales for the month. As the leading vehicle exporter Toyota exported 10 140 units for the month, 43,7% of all vehicles shipped from South Africa.
