Toyota Fortuner offers comfort at a comfortable price
The Toyota Fortuner, which fits in comfortably between the iconic RAV4 and the popular Land Cruiser Prado, offers a wide-ranging list of luxury features coupled with excellent ride comfort and superior on- and off-road conditions at a highly competitive price.
Leather seats, power windows, air conditioner with front and rear split systems, and a radio/CD system make up the standard package. However, a comprehensive five-model range caters for varying needs. All five Fortuner derivatives have a five-door ‘wagon’, seven-seater configuration and share a common interior specification, but differ in the choice of drive train.

The Fortuner offers a comfortable and spacious on-road driving experience together with high level off-road competence similar to that of the Hilux. As a tow vehicle it excels with a rated towing capacity of 750kg for an unbraked trailer and 1 500kg for a braked trailer.
Petrol models are powered by the new generation 1GR-FE 4,0 litre V6 engine with a 24-valve DOHC configuration. Maximum power is 175kW @ 5 200 r/min with torque of 376Nm @ 3 800 r/min.
Diesel models are equipped with the 1KD-FTV engine, a 3,0 litre four cylinder turbocharged and inter-cooled engine with a 16-valve DOHC configuration. Maximum power is 120kW @ 3 400 r/min and peak torque of 343Nm is delivered between 1 400 r/min and 3 200 r/min.
Competitive prices and numerous value adds are a major drawcard for the Fortuner. A 90 000km/three year service plan is included in the price and warranty cover is 100 000km/three years with free 24 hour roadside assistance just a phone call away during the warranty period.
